Sure, except what Trump is doing is making it more, not less likely, that countries will be OK with another currency source. If you're going to declare war on countries economies, then you have to be prepared for the fallout. And the not to improbable fallout is that you could lose.
That's a two way street whether you want to admit it or not. Right now the side you're not for is calling the shots. And half the country is fine with that.
