Milford, IL | UPS is a good company and they run a tight ship. I see the inside of a brown UPS truck every weekday and volume is down. UPS also closed a hub near me earlier this year (FedEX BUILT a new hub in this same town a few years ago). AMZN is attempting to handle a sizable portion of their own delivery and so far the plan is working, here anyway.
Having said that, UPS is picking up a some of the lighter package market that USPS used to own. USPS has priced themselves out of the light package market and USPS delivery performance is abysmal compared to UPS. I don't have a position in UPS or FedEX at the moment, just sharing what I see.
