April 2nd let everyone know the situation, long before the planters rolled. I heard from several people directly that they were planting more corn because "China isn't going to want our beans". How many acres did April 2nd switch? Idk but a wild guess would be 3-4 million and you can see that in the March intentions vs June intentions vs August FSA data.
