| A great political misdirection is that US manufacturing is dead. We are number 2 in the world behind China. The Pentagon does ensure domestic supply chains to feed the war machine if needed. I'm no expert, but I do not accept this US can't feed a war rhetoric. I would ask for hard facts on that before I change my intuition. Obviously a nation must have access to supply chains and domestic manufacturing to defend itself at war.
So much of our economy is not of national security.
