Townsend, Montana | This is the problem. Government regulation is strangling business here in the US everywhere you look. Tariffs won't fix that.
Nothing will change until things are majorly deregulated, which likely won't happen until we feel some major pain, if ever.
Even then, people will blame the "free market" for their woes and we will just get more government regulation instead of less.
Beef is great example. Regulation killed all the little packers and then the big packers put a lot of cow men out of business. Now that the market is finally responding as much as it can, Government is trying to screw it up again.
