Cherokee iowa | Always wondered how it was cheaper to ship me asparagus from Peru. Them Peruvian asparagus farmer must be dirt cheap labor. Was not very pleased with the quality last time I ate either. Only way to make a fair playing field is to have a common currency. Which I am opposed too. So next best is a tariff. Govt should give more subsidies to fruit and veg and put equal tariffs on all imported. Less corn and bean acres would be nice. Time to support USA fruit and vegetable farmers and break chinas growing sectors. | |
