Apx 60% of the daily harvest goes to hamburger— directly.

The vast majority of US beef isn’t very good.

As other countries become more educated and better at management, the understand that grain fed not only enhances quality, but is much more efficient. With that comes confinements.

The grain fed beef from South America is “chewy” even when sliced thin due to slow grow cattle that are apx 4 years old at harvest. They are moving to confinements for several reasons, but they will get better.
