We raised our best corn crop ever. No one wanted to hear that, but I’d say in a 3-4 county area around me there might be more of us than not. How does it balance out , I do not know. USDA should bring the numbers down, but it will be a slow tedious process, and not as low as some want.


We had probably a record year also. Last 3-4 years our yields have climbed an extreme amount. Luckily for y'all, we ground it all ad high moisture corn. We didn't need it, but figured corn was cheap and we could sell more in a high price year, or be protected in a low yield year. If all the crop farmera had cattle, they wouldn't care wnough about corn prices,or would have less tome to read the doom and gloom.
