Iowa | I hoped beans would make 60 and they did which is nothing special, corns been pretty good but it was just to wet for too long in July and early August. In the best dirt the plants are small with just a 3 inch ear. Fungicide was a waste if it was applied right after tassel from what Ive seen. The residual was long gone by the time the rust hit. Still my corn is kinda what I thought it would be which isn't a record or even close but still pretty good. Side dressing seemed to pay more the later you did it. | |
