Alpena MI | I had a good day at the sale barn yesterday. Just drought 5 head home with me. Two 1050# bulls, one @ $1.60 and the second @ $1.65, a 1130# Holstein heifer for $1.60, a 730# Holstein heifer for $1.40 and an 830# red Angus heifer for $2.05. The Holsteins are thin and rough but nothing that some feed and bedding won't fix. The bulls are the money makers of the bunch and the red Angus heifer is the quick turn.
Took 3 fats but didn't stay to watch them sell, so I don't know where we ended up for the day. | |
