Was it better to feed or breed? I choose to feed. Bought a pen of 22 black heifers and 3 steers. April 18 24 weighing 330 @2.39. Just sold weighing 1480 @ $2.37. Figured rate of gain was about 2.2 for 540 days. So everyday $5 a mouth eating my pocket. I doubt they ate a bushel of corn everyday of their life and the note at 7% only came to .20 cents a day per mouth counting death loss. Idk why nobody bid on them so I did. Better lucky then good when playing the market naked.

Good for you
What would that bunch of 25 @330# cost today
Are you replacing them?

Dan
