My observation is there is one thing very different this time. Covid was the last down turn (although far shorter than 15-16) and CFAP paid direct payments over $200 / hd on fats. I dont know if this is the start of the next downturn or not, but I do see many "advocates" on Facebook posturing for direct payments.
