USAID i researched and according to the WEB there was some fraud and abuse. There is accusations about gay books and LGB whatever yet they are accusations.

Waste and abuse
Accusations of waste and abuse have also been raised, with examples like funding for projects such as a "transgender comic book" in Peru or "sex changes and LGBT activism" in Guatemala.
Other examples include funding for tourism in Egypt and support for a non-profit linked to designated terrorist organizations, even after an investigation was launched.
An internal review found that 83% of the programs reviewed would be terminated due to perceived waste, fraud, and abuse.

ON the other hand I have heard USAID called farmers welfare.

USAID purchases grain and other food from U.S. farmers for emergency food assistance, which it distributes to people in need in other countries through programs like Food for Peace. The agency sometimes works with partners like the World Food Programme (WFP) to get the food to those who need it. Despite ongoing distribution, recent reports have highlighted challenges like food being held in warehouses while global hunger increases.
How USAID distributes grain
Procurement: USAID buys a significant amount of food, including grain like wheat, sorghum, and corn, directly from American farmers. This purchase creates a market for U.S. agricultural products.

USAID waste and abuse
A decade-long bribery scandal involving a former USAID contracting officer and two contracting companies, Apprio and Vistant, has led to guilty pleas and a $550 million contract loss. The scandal was uncovered by a joint investigation by the USAID Office of Inspector General (OIG) and the Department of Justice (DOJ). As a result, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) rescinded the independent 8(a) contracting authority of USAID.
Individuals involved: The former USAID contracting officer, Roderick Watson, pleaded guilty to accepting bribes, including cash, gifts, and jobs for relatives, to manipulate the procurement process. The two contracting companies, Apprio and Vistant, also admitted criminal liability for their role in the bribery scheme.
Bribery methods: Bribes were funneled through cash, gifts, and electronic bank transfers that falsely listed Watson on payroll. The companies also used shell companies and false invoices.

Did USAID help. yes it helped farmers in USA and people around the world.

Yes, the absence of USAID programs, and foreign aid in general, is projected to cause millions of deaths, primarily from preventable diseases, malnutrition, and lack of healthcare. A study published in The Lancet estimates that cuts to USAID could lead to over 14 million deaths globally by 2030, with nearly 4.5 million of them being children under five. These figures are based on the cessation of funding for critical programs, including health services, nutrition, water and sanitation, and humanitarian relief.
Consequences of funding cuts
Millions of preventable deaths: Research suggests that the halting of USAID's programs could result in over 14 million additional deaths by 2030.
Disproportionate impact on children: The study's projections show that more than 4.5 million children under five could die due to these cuts.
