beans in the middle of October aren't bad. It is beans in late November that aren't fun.

Have done them on snow and on frozen ground without snow. Beet harvest takes priority in this area if beans are ready at the same time.

2019 with the snow and melting after all the rains in Sept, some got tracks, others left big ruts. By the time we got to soybeans the frost set in and we left minimal depressions. It is all a risk after October 10th it seems as 2019 proved with all that snow.
