North Central US | I think ours was updated, but the mechanic we had do it actually went and found the "this superseded this" list for updates for the axle. I think there was something like 12 updates that were updated to reasonably modern.
Whole axle, no, one can find everything but the axle to update it to something else reasonably easy.
There is nothing special about it, it was an off the shelf component back in...whenever. | |
