| What’s a hoot *to me* I unloaded at place that used to unload rail cars of grain. As in I am straddling RR tracks. They cemented over but top is visible. I started dumping. Not 200 bu pit started running over. *ok maybe more* but I can only open both traps 8” max in common pit made for RR cars. A drag line. First load I had to sweep a bit.
Small town elevator I expect to only dump a hundred, then slow. But they used to dump train grain cars.
I have no intention of to haul from field to my bin. But will be watching drive over pits. Saw some go cheap a year ago. Considered one few moths ago. But 3 phase, dual 7.5 hp. *I considered pulley change, common mount single phase 10 hp*. Possibly slow rate into pit… | |
