I'll toss in a positive, looks like they used a generic junction box, so it' less expensive to replace if needed. Sure, is better than an OEM styled box at a much higher price, IMHO.

Location is definitely a poor choice though, could be because of prewiring trailer as mentioned. Being I recently bought a junction box similar, maybe that's why they position it there, the cord that comes with it isn't that long. Hmmmmm.
