Edson, Alberta, Canada

So no one thinks that the block will be cracked or the head warped from being hot then instant contact with the cold water? Plus I sort of figured that a diesel engine sucking in a full lung full of ice cold water at operating temperature and rpm would be bound to wreck something?
I don't actaully know....I just asking cause, well, I don't go through this sort of thing very often. Thank God.
I would really like to hear opinions from a couple of diesel mechanics. Guess I could call my local JD dealer that I deal with and get their opinion as well.

Thanks everyone.
Dave.
