Yes, raising the meter cal will apply more.
Current meter cal. X monitor volume ÷ actual volume used = new meter cal.

If the problem has been getting worse, I would suggest looking at the flow meter.
If the flow meter is worn, it turns harder = more product going through to spin the same amount of turns.
