NNW Nebraska | Bought a old Scraper. Never thought about it, hooked it to my jd 7600. Wasn't long and blew seal in push off cylinder where the end bolts on.
Dont have cylinder apart yet but it is about 6" in diameter, maybe 32" or 36 "stroke. Guessing it was made for much lower pressure. Guy that had it ran it with a pto pump like was common on old loaders. What might that pressure have been? It takes a long time to push off a load. Cylinder possibly can be fixed. thinking of putting a smaller diameter cylinder on it, so it would cycle faster. Possibly 4"?
It is 77.5" wide on the inside. Sides are about 36" deep. Anyone have any idea what size cylinders are used on newer scrapers.
