I bet the parts guys love when you walk in the door. Like they are the ones that packaged the belts. Most people don't enjoy arguing over stuff they had nothing to do with.
That is a bet you would lose then.
My parts people to a man love me because I treat all of them with respect. I have never yelled at anyone behind the counter as I have been behind the service counter for nearly 40 years myself. Even when I have been hung out to dry with wrong parts, broken parts or parts that didn't get delivered I treat them with respect. Probably better than most of you ever have.
Belts do NOT come to the retail location all wadded up, I have seen them unloaded at the dealership.
GAWD, I hope commodity prices come up so you people can take a joke.
The parts manager I referred to was my best friend. We went to lunch almost every day, served in Masonic Lodge together. I say "was" because he committed suicide 1 1/2 years ago and I still miss him every day.
A good natured argument/ discussion was all it was.
