If you want to buy the cables, JD parts has them for the 55 and 60 series tractors.

But I really like the stud type batteries used on heavy trucks. So I bought a battery cable crimper and eyelet terminals and normally just cut off the old lead clamp terminals and reuse the cable with new ends crimped on. It’s simple to splice two cables with eyelets at the stud terminal of a battery. So no special cables required for the parallel setup and no more post type batteries!

Added benefit is it’s simple to put a disconnect by the steps if you put it in the positive cable.
