| Nothing crazy. I suspect it works about as good as any other method that you thoroughly devote yourself to. I just don’t have enough time to devote to it to get good enough for it to be truly useful to me.
I spent a lot of time studying it. Never got to where I trusted my analysis.
I feel like a guy almost has to have it as a full time job for about 3 years or maybe more before you really are useful with it. I also have a bias that those who really are good at it don’t always get it right either. The difference between them and me (in my opinion) is that when price fails what they expected, they see it sooner than I do and limit their losses. They have a better eye for realizing it has failed than I do.
For a few years after I quit relying on that I paid a marketing advisor who relied primarily on fundamentals. He had failures as well.
I figure I’ll have successes and failures just throwing a dart and seeing where it hits too. So now I’m just doing that. I do have some strategy but it’s really nothing noteworthy. | |
