Getting hot coolant thru the core is only half of it. Are you getting air thru the fins, and then out where you want it. I would check the core to make sure air flow is good, and the that the various doors are directing the air correctly. Have seen a lot of cores with dirt, leaves, beeswings, whatever restricting flow. Have you noticed any air flow reduction?
