I'm fed up with idiots like you who question everything, want to play expert, and offer up advice on subjects they have little to no knowledge about. 40 years doesn't mean you did any of it correctly. Some of us are good enough that we get paid to teach others the correct way. I used to burn a 50 pound can of electrodes by lunch and another 50 after. I'd venture to guess I've burned more rod in one week than you have in most of your 40 years.
I think most of us get what you are saying, but you also need to realize that 99.99% of us on a board like this do not have the experience that you do. We will make replies and advice based on our level of competence and experience. That should not give a pro like yourself a license to beat up on a guy who isn't a true expert in the field. We want your input but you need to dial the criticism back and consider the level of experience that we all have here. |
