This IMO is the correct way. I don't do it that way because I dont have the time or space to do it that way. Usually i have 24-30 hybrids in a plot, I try to have my favorite in there 3 times along with a few known hybrids then the rest are new to me. The ones that impress me for any reason get 4-8 bags split planter in the field the next year. Year 3 whole hog.

Look at other plots in the area too. I dont like to have reps around when i harvest. Too easy to nudge data their way.

I usually do 3-4 plots a year. 12-30 in each. 4 rows 6-800ft long.
