Hey what do I know I'm just aws qualified in multiple processes, multiple positions, multiple joint configurations, welded pipelines, worked for pittsburg tank and tower, field foreman for an Exxon Mobil tank crew, and taught welding school for a mine equipment manufacturer.

What does your welding resume look like?[/QUOT

What did I say to but the burr under your saddle? All I said is most 7018's I have ever run across are DC only, far as my resume your honor I am just a simple farmer how who has done a fair amount of stick welding ( can only recall one or two instances in the last 40 years that I had to weld something a second time) and seen enough wire welds fail both factory and by others to know that the wire welder is not the answer to every welding problem.
