E ND | +1 on running steers not drives on the front, and name brand matters. Continentals don't last, Michelin ribs have been the best for us. Instead of "ok" drives on all corners we've went to Michelin Agilis HD rib steers on the front and XDS2's on the rear. The XDS2's are a fairly aggressive grip traction tire but the whole truck drives better setup this way. If you're off road and in the mud all the time this might not work for you.,
I think it's a combination of the geometry of the wide track front axle combined with heavy rear axle weights and the crown in the road on service trucks that gives us problems.
