Subject: RE: 40ft tarp replacement on my own?

West central Ohio
Don't know how to remove the electric roll arms but have replaced 40' manual roll tarps by my self. Sometimes getting the tarp stops released is a major project on it's own. Sometimes have to cut some of them off. Park the truck under the trusses in a pole barn or steel building. Roll the tarp up against the stops. Take all the stops off but two or three. Two or three ropes over trusses and around rolled tarp. Release rest of stops and lift tarp and pull truck forward. Lower tarp and unroll old tarp and switch roll pipe to new tarp. Roll it up and lift it up and back truck under tarp. Make sure you have something to tie the ropes to while you're lowering and lifting tarp in stages.
