I went through the same dilemma winterizing my Apache sprayer with Hawkeye. I came to the conclusion that 30 gallons of RV antifreeze is way less money than even one nozzle solenoid. Better safe than sorry.
I can probably drain out the system and get half my RV antifreeze back in the spring anyway.
