Closer to the row unit work better I think. Before I put floating Yetters on I looked at some one year old Yetters at a dealer. They had the Coulter behind the sharktooth wheels. Owner was replacing them with Yetters with no coulter. Hyd or air adjust for depth work good for different conditions
