Lots of guys around here are running a vt tool in the stalks to try to mix and smooth the soil for early beans next year. I tried just what you are doing with my disc. I ended up hooking the dmi crumbler up to help improve the finish. I waited till we got some moisture in the ground, just so the disc would actually go in. Im like you wondering how it will look next spring.
