Lone Wolf Ok | Black plastic or rubber like appearing material has created issues several times with cartridge.
Is this something that you can't see lower in faucet coming apart?
Update - spoke with another delta rep, very different flush procedure given requiring full removal from sink / hot cold lines etc. they say has to be 'enviromental' ie water supply - i had local water superintendent take a look and we discussed, if material was Blue, water line upstream repair.
The next time something happens, i will fully remove faucet and take it 100% apart. My bet is a deteriorating o'ring somewhere.
