We've done them working off step ladders but that's a method I definitely don't recommend, one misstep could go bad in a hurry. A pole building with a couple ropes/pulleys would also be a cheap effective option, winch it up, drive trailer out and lower it to the ground. Thowing some talc or baby powder on the pipe or in the tarp opening does help them slide through a bit easier too
