Well, thank you...I certainly try...:) Oh me, one of the reasons for the Speed Queen diehards...is they never knew the vintage Belt Drive Kenmore/Whirlpool & Maytags... They simply run circles around Speed Queens, and their longevity proved it... This fellow has a conventional with motor and transmission...Speed Queen never made a direct drive until the failed attempt at the all electronic gov mandated thingy that lasted a short time.
