Mid-Michigan | I'm discing some cornstalks this year with hopes of planting directly into them in the spring. I usually chisel plow them, hit it once with a field cultivator and plant. Was trying to eliminate the fc pass in the spring with hopes of saving time and moisture. I plant with an 1890 drill in 7.5 rows with new blades and boots. Will the beans come out of this? Will I have trouble combining?
