MacUsma1983 - 11/19/2024 14:31 Thank you to everyone who responded! All is better I think. Only one at fault here is me! I get so focused on running the farm and enjoying it, i didnt take the time to treat these legalese situations as learning experiences while my father was alive. I did what Baby Robin and others including my attorney would have told me. i finally got a hold of my brother and we talked for about an hour like Baby Robin said. He is the primary trustee and when he goes, i am the new trustee. he wants to make decisions together while we're still alive. As far as documents, he's getting those together, along with accounts and passwords, etc. He did say with this arrangement he could screw me, but did not want to go that route. So perhaps there was some justification to my worry. I apologise for bringing stress upon many of you. I hope many of you will learn from my mistakes and perhaps have a better life because of this. Live long and prosper, and be kind, be honest and we'll see you next time.

I'm glad for this update.....thanks!!!  To a huge extent, I think the onus is on him for not communicating what he was doing and not talking with you prior to starting all this. Sounds as tho his heart is in the right place, but you both need to commit to open communications going forward.........you're neither one young, and don't need the extra stress. Good luck going forward!
