Mid Michigan | Buying land is a lot like buying cars. You can spend $500,000 on a Maclareon or a Lamborgini, Porshe etc. They will all get you to work for the most part. Or you can buy a $5000 dollar Ford, Chevy, Chrysler etc and they will also more than likely get you to work. Probably better than the first 3 listed. In other words, if you can't afford to buy overpriced farmland go somewhere else where you can buy some land that everybody else thinks is a ford, chevy, chrysler piece of land. It's out there. Might have to move to it but it's out there. Before I spent 1.5 million on 160 acres I would invest the 1.5 in a cd and make $75,000 a year without lifting a finger. | |
