SE Iowa
We have a slow dryer for our operator as well. What we do is stagger loads to dryer and the elevator to keep moving forward. Don’t like to dry much above 21 and can handle 21 to the elevator but certainly feel better about anything below 20. The doc is at least partially made up with better yield from not waiting. I had been searching for drier corn when we had a September premium of 5-10 cents higher than October but it’s gone now so we’re on beans and will let corn dry a bit at this point with the forecast.
