A recently rebuilt 1,400 hr. sep. machine to me is worth a lot more $$$$ than one needing a rebuild
Friend bought a much lower hour 8240 cheap and first thing took it too CIH and put $40k in rebuild....He expected that and still said he was $50k ahead of "dealer" prices
Big machines run a lot of bushels through them and all combines have a lot of wear parts ...In the end it all comes down to field ready price
Positive is if you do a complete rebuild you are good for another 1,000 sep. hrs. | |
