SE Michigan | If you are talking about combines that were made in the 70-80'2 I doubt you can find parts, I don't think any of the aftermarket sources carry them either. (cold be wrong - but I have only seen maybe 2-3 in my life time) The only way I would buy one if it came with 2-3 parts machines, even then I wold tend to look for an old IH Axial-Flow (14XX) that can be found for under $4000 and parts are stupid easy to find and fairly cheap. Plus, most anyone can fix these due to the simplicity. Even old Gleaners would be a better bet as far as parts and finding someone (like on NAT) that could help you with finding out the issue and sources for parts. My guess is that Ford sold under 200 of less across the entire USA back in the day | |
