| My favorite cooler is the Yeti 50 that they do not make anymore. It is deeper than the 35 or 45 but takes up less space in the pickup, Something about having less exposed surface seems to make ice last longer. The 50 was more of a square verses a rectangle. I also have one of the newer 24 Roddie and really like it's size but it does not keep cold as long as the 50 does. I have gone to using the bigger 5 pound ice packs verses ice. I just grab one out of the freezer in the shop and swap every morning and it will always be cold the next morning no matter how hot it is that day. So I guess the way I use a cooler almost anything would work with me swapping out ice packs every morning. | |
