Chetek, WI | I agree. My campground is a great investment. It will pay for itself and pay me if I stop spending money. It will be paid for in 16 years and then the returns get really good. I invested heavily in improvements but that allows me to raise the rates that I charge which increases income and the value of the campground. Helped that I had some land to sell and a wife with a good job.
If you own the land and it’s a good area I say go for it. Sounds like you can save money on dirt work like I did.
Your season is longer than mine so that is good. Seasonal campers are less work but less money. Less headaches and shorter hours for you.
