Eastern VA. No such thing as too many Magnums.
Keep in mind that listing, bedding, ridging, hipping, hilling can all mean the same thing to different guys. We have two kinds. One we call a ripper/bedder (disk style). This is what the delta guys would consider a hipper I guess. It has dual opposed disks to make a ridge. Ours also has a ripper shank in row centers. The other kind is the bedder roller. Some guys call them bedder rollers, lister rollers, hipper rollers. Whatever, its all the same, it has a big buster wing to make the ridges and then rolls it down flat on top. The bedder/roller is better in my mind unless you want to rip the row center, then I'd go with a ripper/bedder with the dirt doors on the back. Here are some pictures of ours.
