I would guess that the problem is with the old part. I have one in the shop that has been in there since I think we moved to the house we are in in 01, probably actually bought I would suppose early 02. It is an apartment size that was at Sears one night when we were there and I thought it was cheap with the sale it was on. It has been on 24-7 since then.
