E.Central MN | My brother works next door to an asphalt company that unloaded rail cars that way several times. They said there was a problem finding good gravel so they were bringing it in by rail car. Once the backhoe was up on top of the first car and it was emptied out, he would lift it and slide to the next car and then move that car back into position so he could dump into the gravel trucks. Probably not something you'd want a trainee doing on his first day on the job. | |
