Dodge County, WI | Just got off the phone with Intuicom.
They had a bad batch of internal GPS modules due to supplier change. The internal battery goes down, and ruins the module, and stops reporting its location to itself.
Also the small number screen on the face of the modem will occasionally flash "9" quickly.
There's nothing wrong with the antenna, it's an internal issue.
You can change the profile and set it to static location, and edit your lat/long to your field, and it will work properly, within a mile or two.
Or you can do what you did with the cheap GPS puck.
Long term fix is call them and they will go over a few things with you over the phone to verify this is the issue, and if so they will replace the module without charge. Send it in and they take care of it. | |
