The idea is, you will be eating your sweet corn 10 days before your neighbor's is ready.
There's truth to that. A local produce farmer starts his sweet corn in greenhouses, and transplants it out to the field when the weather is warm enough. All to get that edge on the competition, and get the first sweet corn into the farmers' markets.
What would you pay??
