Genoa, Nebraska | I have to agree in large part to what you are saying. I don't know if citizens having to take the law into their own hands is better than police and trained law enforcement officers, but it is better than nothing. The biggest problem, I see, is how there are so little consequences for offenders. Often, the guilty will have more rights than the victims, and there is something morally corrupt about a system that allows that. Our consitution has been perverted in such a way as to defend the guilty and condemn the innocent. As far as a little "down home" justice, maybe some of these guys pulling those stunts at auctions need to be taken behind the machine shed for an attitude adjustment. Right now, they know nobody can harm them because the "good guys" would be punished in a court of law worse than the criminal, and that absolutely needs to change. | |
