Spring Grove MN | Read my above post for more but I was expecting to be at 4.5 - 5 with this machine. This is 8 wide rows. I was not running much for tailings. I did run this level on the 9560 as well but that was because there was not enough seive to let it through fast enough. I was told that our machine was the strongest runner that our dealership tech had been in. I was able to run 4.5 with that head in 200 bushel corn at 18%. That is all that machine can handle. I was also told that may be why I am having issues adjusting and damaging grain with this one (it is not running absolutely full) and that makes things much easier to set (I guess). I may have to just head to the field and run 5 and try and get it to shell at that speed. I do know the 95 showed more loss if it was run full. If you were at 2.5 that monitor was lit up - push to close to 4 and all was good. I just need to find the sweet spot for this one. | |
